Building a Computer from SCRATCH!
A dream I've had for what feels like eternity is building my own desktop computer. I've always been fascinated with technology and technology has always made sense to me. I never had the access for a very long time to learn the process of building a computer and more importantly the funding. As of this past month - my dream has become reality thanks to my cutie boyfriend and being a kind of financially stable adult! Here is a cheat sheet to how I built Artemis - my lil baby.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUILD A COMPUTER
There are PLENTY of awesome alternatives that are just as good as a custom built PC. Here are some of my recommendations that would be comparable to what Stephen + I built for myself:
OMEN BY HP
** You will need to also upgrade a select few components on these models. It's quite difficult finding an exact replica of a custom built PC **
My only real direction for Stephen with helping me with my build was that I wanted mostly white parts and then as many LED rainbow lights as possible! Oh and of course that I want it primarily for gaming and blogging. He definitely came through with making what I've seen in my brain for so long appear before my eyes on my desk! I hope this helped ya'll if you are trying to make your own computer - I tried to put everything in the simplest terms only because that's the best way that I learn myself! See you dorks next week so until then please #staynerdy
PERFECT HUMANS NEWS OF THE WEEK
Halloween is coming up! You know what that means? THE CUTEST DESIGNS YOU'LL SEE IN THE COMMUNITY and no that is not biased since it's my favorite time of year. Okay - maybe it is but here is a sneak peek of a very limited run I'll be doing of Lady Axolotl in her lil costume!
LIFE LESSON REMINDER OF THE WEEK
I had to share something I will never shut up about - abuse. Please read above about how important it is to take all accounts seriously and to NOT enable abusers in any way, shape or form. Here's the life story article by the way and my post on abusive relationships - for reference.
INTERVIEW ON DECK
Oh shittttttt - YES I hung with some of the boys of The Flatliners at their secret show this past Sunday at Slidebar in Fullerton! It was SO awesome. We talked beaver tail, music, Canada, politics, and so much more. I can't wait to share it with you dorks next week! #staynerdy
ALBUM OF THE WEEK

If you haven't checked out Kesha's latest album, please do yourself a huge solid and give it a listen. It's been on repeat for me all week! I can't get over how she still has a fun/party vibe but it's got this mature/deep undertone to it as well. My fave track is, "Hymn". Give it a listen at least once - you'll be hooked!Disclaimer: These are my opinions on what I think I can recall of certain events in my life.
